Today, our cross-country teams traveled to Cumberland to compete in the Southern Maine Class C Championship. Due to injuries and sickness, we only had three boys compete, but they ran hard and made us proud. Their results were: Liam Achey 54th overall (21:12.33), Carroll Frigon 77th overall (22:45.65), and Alan Crawford 91st overall (24:42.15). On the girls side, we had five runners, enough to compete as a team and finished 10th overall. Their placing was as follows, Janessa Moffit 38th overall (26:13.44), Addison Chaisson 44th overall (27:12.46), Jodie McKeen 47th overall (27:39.84), Shelby Veilleux 68th overall (31:33.91), and Bryn Clausen 84th overall (39:43.15). Great season athletes and coaches!

On Wednesday, our Forest Hills boys' and girls' cross-country teams traveled to the University of Maine at Augusta to compete in our conference championship. Our top three male runners combined for 28 points, earning them a third place finish. Their times were as follows: Liam Achey, 7th (21:22), Aaron Obert, 9th (21:47) and Carroll Frigon, 15th (23:35.8). Our top three female runners combined for 16 points, earning them a second place finish. Their times were as follows: Emma Vining, 3rd (26:35), Janessa Moffit, 5th (27:42) and Jodie Mckeen, 8th (29:17). Great job Tigers! Please click on the link for full results.

Yesterday, our varsity golf team competed for the 2024 Class C State Championship. It was a very windy day, but our tiger golfers showed their resiliency shooting a combined 393 and finishing in 12th place. We brought our top six golfers and their scores were as follows: Maddox Cuddy (93), Liam Achey (95), Jaxson Desjardins (99), Carroll Frigon (106), Allie Dunning (113, 8th place for individuals), and Aaden Nadeau (126). Great job tigers, we are very proud of your successful season!

Our cross-country teams visited Lisbon on Friday and ran hard. In the girls' race, Emma Vining finished in tenth, at 25:54, earning her a medal. She was closely followed by Jodie Mckeen, who finished in 11th (26:37), Janessa Moffit, 12th (26:54), and Addison Chaisson, 14th (28:22). Our girls' team totaled 51 points, earning us a third place finish for the day. In the boys' race Aaron Obert was our top finisher at 14th (20:58), followed by Carroll Frigon, 25th (22:16), Alan Crawford, 28th (23:00), and Matthew Hall 34th (25:23). We did not have enough runners for our boys to count as a team, but this was a great warmup for our conference championship this Wednesday, October 16th @ UMA. Great job tigers!
